Gary Berger works with Jane and Vern at Leinenkugel’s and was diagnosed with cancer in September of 2006, shortly after getting married and returning from his honeymoon.  The cancer made the first year of Gary’s new marriage a challenge, but Gary and his wife Michelle relied on the support of family and friends while Gary recovered from surgery to remove the brain tumor.  Gary is now back at work at Lenie’s after three months off.  At the last check, no sign of the tumor was showing up on the doctor’s tests.
